Coopers Knob from Hoon Hay Reserve 2022

Leader: Denise

The weather was dominated by a northerly wind and a norwest arch in the sky, with the threat of a southerly storm approaching some time in the afternoon. Our 21 walkers, however, enjoyed a relatively sheltered walk of 13.9km on an undulating route following the Crater Rim Walkway.  We had views in every direction.  On the return journey some of the group were partly on the walkway and partly on the Summit Road, while others chose to walk the whole way on the road.  Our trip took 4.5 hours, including refreshment stops.
