A group of thirteen walkers set off from the Sumner Surf Club on a warm day to climb to Mount Pleasant. We headed up Clifton Terrace before crossing the valley to Richmond Hill and up to Windsor Castle for morning tea. Then it was on up via the Greenwood Track almost to the gun emplacements before turning towards Mount Pleasant, a beautiful lunch spot. By the time we got back to the cars we had walked around 12 kms.
